GCP Backup and DR Adds Auto-Protection for Compute Engine and Persistent Disks
GCP Backup and DR now enables auto-protection policies and resource labels for Compute Engine instances and Persistent Disks. This feature allows users to automatically assign backup plans to qualifying resources across projects based on user-defined labels, streamlining data protection management for extensive GCP infrastructure. This functionality is currently available in Preview.

You can now use auto-protection policies and resource labels to automatically protect Compute Engine instances and Persistent Disks at scale in Backup and DR. This feature allows you to automatically assign a backup plan to qualifying resources across projects based on user-defined labels. This feature is in Preview .
