GCP Virtual Private Cloud now supports static external IPv6 BYOIP for load balancing
Google Cloud's Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) now allows reserving static external IPv6 addresses from Bring Your Own IP (BYOIP) sub-prefixes. These addresses, in EXTERNAL_IPV6_FORWARDING_RULE_CREATION mode, can be assigned to forwarding rules for external passthrough Network Load Balancers and external protocol forwarding. This feature also enables promoting ephemeral IPv6 BYOIP addresses used by external forwarding rules to reserved static IPs. This enhancement is now generally available, providing greater control and persistence for IPv6 networking configurations.
