GitHub Apps Now Access Enterprise Billing Data
GitHub Apps can now access enterprise billing data, allowing enterprise owners to grant read or read/write permissions. This change enables automation for pulling usage data, reconciling invoices, and managing budgets without relying on individual personal access tokens. It eliminates issues arising from personnel changes and provides higher API rate limits. This feature is available for GitHub Enterprise Cloud customers.

- GitHub Apps can access enterprise billing data
Enterprise owners can now grant GitHub Apps read or read-write permissions to access enterprise billing data. This capability allows automation for usage data, invoice reconciliation, and budget management via an app installation token, removing reliance on individual personal access tokens. It also provides higher API rate limits and is available on GitHub Enterprise Cloud.
