GitHub Code Quality is now generally available for Enterprise Cloud and Team, offering AI-accelerated code analysis to detect maintainability and reliability issues. This feature pairs CodeQL with AI-assisted detection and Copilot Autofix, helping teams ship more trustworthy code with improved maintainability and reliability scores. GitHub Code Quality is now available on GitHub Enterprise Cloud and GitHub Team. It uses CodeQL analysis combined with AI-assisted detection and Copilot Autofix to identify maintainability and reliability issues in pull requests.

Code Quality is a standalone paid product, not bundled with GitHub Advanced Security, and is not available on GitHub Enterprise Server at launch. Pricing includes a base license of $10 per active committer per month plus metered usage for AI features and compute costs for CodeQL analysis.
- Billing begins July 20, 2026, for existing preview users
Billing for Code Quality will start automatically on July 20, 2026. Organizations that used the product during public preview do not need to migrate or reconfigure; existing agreements will continue as a paid product. Review enablement settings to manage future scans and charges.
