GKE Standard Clusters Now Support Up to 512 Pods Per Node

Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Standard clusters now support up to 512 maximum Pods per node, doubling the previous limit of 256. This enhancement allows for higher density and more efficient resource utilization within GKE clusters. Nodes configured to host between 257 and 512 Pods will automatically be allocated a larger /22 Pod CIDR block, providing 1,024 IP addresses. This change affects users leveraging GKE Standard for their containerized workloads.
