Google Cloud Contact Center Mobile SDKs Add Chat Check-in and Typing Indicators
Google Cloud has released version 2.16.2 of its Contact Center mobile SDKs, introducing new chat check-in and 'is typing' indicator features for Android and iOS. Chat check-in ensures end-users are present before connecting to an agent, reducing agent handle time by preventing connections to abandoned chats. The 'is typing' indicator enhances the end-user experience by showing agent activity during conversations. This update also includes fixes for issues related to app relaunch, call connection, duplicate notifications, message ordering, log uploads, and chat fetch delays.
