Google Cloud Managed Service for Apache Spark gets runtime updates
Google Cloud has released new subminor runtime versions (1.2.86, 2.2.86, 2.3.39) for its Managed Service for Apache Spark, formerly known as Google Cloud Serverless for Apache Spark. Version 2.3 specifically includes an upgrade to OpenLineage 1.49, enhancing lineage support for tables created with the Lakehouse Runtime catalog. This update also addresses a segmentation fault that previously occurred when OpenLineage parsed complex SQL query strings.
