Google Distributed Cloud for Bare Metal 1.33.1100-gke.72 Released

Google Distributed Cloud for bare metal version 1.33.1100-gke.72 is now available, running on Kubernetes v1.33.11-gke.100. This release removes the deprecated csi-snapshot-validation-webhook component, relying instead on native Kubernetes CEL rules for volume snapshot validation. It also includes fixes for listed vulnerabilities. The update is available via upgrade clusters and will roll out to GKE On-Prem API clients over the next 7-14 days.

    The following changes were added in 1.33.1100-gke.72: Removed the deprecated csi-snapshot-validation-webhook component. Upstream Kubernetes validation is now handled natively via Common Expression Language (CEL) rules within the deployed Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs). For more information, see Volume snapshots .

Google Distributed Cloud for bare metal 1.33.1100-gke.72 runs on Kubernetes v1.33.11-gke.100. After a release, it takes approximately 7 to 14 days for the version to become available for installations or upgrades with the GKE On-Prem API clients: the Google Cloud console, the gcloud CLI, and Terraform.
