Google SecOps SIEM adds Gemini Cloud Assist for feed management
Google SecOps SIEM now integrates Gemini Cloud Assist (GCA) into its Feed Management interface to assist users with feed configuration and troubleshooting. This feature provides guidance but does not automatically apply changes, requiring manual user intervention. Additionally, an issue causing under-reported ingestion metrics has been corrected, which may result in a one-time spike in reported metrics.

- Google SecOps SIEM Ingestion metrics reporting correction
Ingestion metrics reporting correction Google Security Operations has resolved an issue where certain ingestion metrics—which are displayed in both the dashboard and Cloud Monitoring—were under-reported. Because of this correction, you might notice a one-time apparent spike in your ingestion metrics when the update is enabled for your region (between June 29 and July 10, 2026). The actual log volume ingested remains unchanged. Historical metrics recorded before this update will not be modified or backfilled. This correction does not affect customer billing.
