Looker instance deletion now offers a 7-day restore window

Looker (Google Cloud core) instances deleted are now moved to a trash bin for seven days before permanent deletion. This change allows users to restore instances within that window, reducing accidental data loss for customers managing their Looker environments. This update is now generally available.

When you delete a Looker (Google Cloud core) instance, it is now moved to the trash for seven days before being permanently deleted. During this period, you can restore the instance to its previous state. After seven days, the instance is permanently deleted from the trash and cannot be recovered.
