Managed Service for Apache Spark adds new subminor cluster image versions
Google Cloud has released new subminor cluster image versions for its Managed Service for Apache Spark. These updates remove preconfigured Conda channels, impacting users who rely on default aliases and manual package installation via Conda. Consumers must specify exact subminor versions and manually configure channels or pin to older versions until August 2026, after which older images will be disallowed.
