Cloud SDK version 579.0.0 introduces breaking API changes for API Registry, deprecates the clientTlsPolicy field in Network Services, and promotes several features to General Availability across various services like Cloud Functions, Compute Engine, and Cloud Quotas. Users of Compute Engine and Compute Firewall Policies will also see new IAM permission testing commands and GA support for new policy types. This release impacts developers and architects working with these Google Cloud services, particularly those managing API configurations, network policies, and compute resources.
