Microsoft Defender for Cloud Deprecation in Azure China Announced
Microsoft announced the retirement of Microsoft Defender for Cloud features and services within Microsoft Azure operated by 21Vianet (Azure in China). This deprecation is due to increasing infrastructure and operational complexity, making it infeasible to maintain expected levels of stability and effectiveness. All features will be removed on August 18, 2026, after which customers will lose portal and service access.
