Microsoft Sentinel to be retired in Azure China by August 2026

Microsoft has announced the planned retirement of Microsoft Sentinel within Microsoft Azure operated by 21Vianet, commonly known as Azure in China. The decision stems from increasing infrastructure and operational complexity, making it infeasible to maintain expected stability and effectiveness. All features and services related to Microsoft Sentinel in this environment will be removed on August 18, 2026, after which the portal and associated services will be inaccessible. Customers are advised to consult their account representatives for transition support.
