feature announcement

Mountpoint for Amazon S3 now includes memory usage controls, enabling users to set an explicit limit or rely on automatic detection within its environment. This enhancement helps prevent performance and stability issues by allowing Mountpoint to run effectively alongside other memory-intensive applications, such as those in machine learning training or analytics workloads. The feature ensures memory budgets are respected, even within containers with strict allocations like those in Amazon EKS. This capability is generally available across all AWS Regions.
