Amazon EC2 C9g and C9gd Instances Now Available in Asia Pacific (Tokyo)

Amazon EC2 C9g and C9gd instances, powered by AWS Graviton5 processors, are now available in the Asia Pacific (Tokyo) region. These instances deliver up to 25% better compute performance compared to Graviton4-based C8g/C8gd instances, with significant speed improvements for databases, web applications, and machine learning. Built on the sixth-generation AWS Nitro System, they introduce the Nitro Isolation Engine for mathematically proven workload isolation and enhanced security. The instances are ideal for various compute-intensive workloads, including HPC, gaming, and ML inference, with C9gd variants providing local NVMe storage.
