Amazon WorkSpaces Applications now supports NVIDIA Blackwell G7 instances

Amazon WorkSpaces Applications has added support for Graphics G7 instances, powered by NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs and Intel Xeon Scalable (6th Gen) processors. These new instances deliver up to 2.1x better performance for graphics-intensive workloads such as CAD/CAM, 3D rendering, and AI-assisted design, enabling higher fidelity and frame rates. G7 instances feature 32 GB of GDDR7 GPU memory and 2.67x faster memory bandwidth for handling larger 3D scenes. They are currently available in US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), and US West (Oregon) in six different sizes.

These instances provide up to 2.1x performance improvement for demanding graphics workloads and AI-assisted design workflows, with 32 GB GDDR7 GPU memory and faster memory bandwidth. Six instance sizes are available, ranging from 1 to 8 GPUs, 8 to 192 vCPUs, and 32 GB to 768 GB of system memory, in select AWS regions.
