Amazon EC2 M9g and M9gd instances powered by Graviton5 expand to four new regions
Amazon EC2 M9g and M9gd instances, powered by AWS Graviton5 processors, are now available in Europe (Ireland) and Asia Pacific (Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo) regions. These instances deliver up to 25% better performance than Graviton4-based M8g/M8gd instances and are up to 30% faster for databases. They are the first to feature the Nitro Isolation Engine, which provides mathematically proven workload isolation for enhanced cloud security. Ideal for memory-intensive applications like open-source databases and big data analytics, M9gd variants also offer local NVMe SSD storage.
