Amazon EKS and EKS Distro now support Kubernetes version 1.37
AWS has announced that Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and Amazon EKS Distro now support Kubernetes version 1.37, enabling users to create new clusters or upgrade existing ones. This update brings several improvements, including the Metrics API promoting to general availability and Dynamic Resource Allocation (DRA) device taints and tolerations also reaching general availability. Additionally, Horizontal Pod Autoscaler scale-to-zero graduates to beta and is enabled by default, allowing idle workloads to scale down to zero Pods. The new version is available in all AWS regions where EKS is present, including AWS GovCloud (US) Regions.
