AWS Health Introduces Version Catalog for Software Lifecycle Management
AWS Health has launched a new version catalog that centralizes lifecycle information for software versions across various AWS services. This tool helps customers proactively manage software version upgrades and mitigate end-of-support risks. While available in the AWS Health Dashboard for all customers, API access is restricted to Business Support Plus, Enterprise Support, or Unified Operations plans. Initially covering Amazon RDS, Amazon EKS, and AWS Lambda, the catalog is available across all AWS Commercial Regions.
Features (1) ›
- Centralized Software Version Lifecycle Management
The AWS Health version catalog provides a centralized source of lifecycle information for software versions across AWS services. This allows customers to proactively build upgrade schedules and governance controls, moving to newer supported versions before receiving account-specific Planned Lifecycle Events for end-of-support.
