The feature includes intelligent inline compaction to address the small file problem, ensuring predictable query performance and lowering downstream query costs by up to 30%. It targets customers aiming to power near real-time analytics and AI/ML feature pipelines with fresh streaming data, and is available in all AWS Regions where Kinesis Data Streams is present.
