Amazon WorkSpaces Apps Adds OneDrive, Google Drive to Multi-Session Fleets
Amazon WorkSpaces Applications now integrates Microsoft OneDrive for Business and Google Drive as persistent storage for multi-session fleets, enhancing user access to cloud files within streaming sessions. This feature improves cost efficiencies for organizations using multi-session fleets by allowing familiar enterprise storage access alongside existing S3-backed home folders. It is available in all AWS Regions where WorkSpaces Applications is offered, with no additional charges beyond standard streaming session pricing. Prerequisites include a WorkSpaces Applications agent or image update released on or after June 29, 2026.
