Anthropic's Claude Fable 5.1, an advanced frontier model, is now generally available on AWS, bringing enhanced intelligence for complex coding, scientific research, and enterprise workflows. This model offers improved reasoning, better judgment on ambiguous tasks, and reduced confident wrong answers compared to its predecessor. Designed for long-running, high-stakes projects, it includes built-in Enterprise Frontier Safeguards (EFS) developed in partnership with AWS. Customers can access Fable 5.1 via Amazon Bedrock and Claude Platform on AWS.

- Specialized Model and Enterprise Frontier Safeguards
Claude Mythos 5.1, a variant with full cyber and bio capabilities for research, is available with limited access. Fable 5.1 is designated a 'Covered Model,' subject to additional data retention, safety review, and access policies. Enterprise Frontier Safeguards (EFS), co-developed by AWS and Anthropic, allow eligible customers to use Covered Models while keeping data within their controlled cloud environment.
