AWS Deadline Cloud now supports sharing render job bundles across teams

feature

AWS Deadline Cloud has introduced support for sharing job bundles, simplifying the distribution and reuse of render job templates for visual effects, animation, and simulation workflows. Previously, teams relied on manual file distribution, but now bundles can be published directly to a queue from the submitter or command line, making them immediately accessible to all team members with queue access. This feature leverages Amazon S3 for storage, requiring no additional infrastructure, and facilitates pipeline teams in providing standardized job templates to artists. It is available in all AWS regions where Deadline Cloud operates.

Features (1)
  • Enable Sharing of Job Bundles

AWS Deadline Cloud now allows teams to share job bundles, which define render jobs including templates, parameters, and asset references. Bundles can be published directly to a queue, making them accessible to team members without manual file distribution. This capability streamlines the process for pipeline teams to distribute standard, ready-to-submit job templates for artists, stored as portable archives in the queue's S3 job attachments bucket.
