AWS EC2 M8i and M8i-flex Instances Now Available in AWS European Sovereign Cloud

Amazon EC2 M8i and M8i-flex instances are now available in the AWS European Sovereign Cloud (Germany) region. These instances, powered by custom Intel Xeon 6 processors, offer up to 15% better price-performance and 2.5x more memory bandwidth than previous generations, with up to 20% performance gains over M7i/M7i-flex. They target general-purpose workloads like web servers, databases, and microservices, showing significant speed improvements for PostgreSQL, NGINX, and AI deep learning models. M8i instances are SAP-certified and include new larger sizes, while M8i-flex provides optimized price-performance for common workloads.
