AWS Enhances CloudFront Dynamic Image Transformation with Four New Features

- Enhanced Automatic Image Optimization for All Devices
The service now provides enhanced automatic image optimization, delivering appropriately sized images across all browser and device types. This uses CloudFront's multi-tier device detection and Client Hints, expanding optimized image delivery to devices beyond traditional browsers.
- Interactive Image Transformation Playground
DIT introduces a new interactive playground for testing and validating image transformations. It displays transformed images with extended metrics such as original and output dimensions, format, file size, compression ratios, and processing time, aiding policy validation.
- Feature Parity for ECS and Lambda Architectures
Dynamic Image Transformation now achieves full feature parity between its ECS and Lambda architectures. This ensures consistent capabilities regardless of the deployment model chosen by the customer.
