AWS Marketplace now supports auto-renewals for private offers

awsga
feature

AWS Marketplace has introduced support for auto-renewals on private offers, streamlining procurement for software and service subscriptions. This capability allows negotiated pricing and contract terms to carry forward automatically, reducing administrative overhead and preventing unintended subscription lapses for both buyers and sellers. Sellers can define renewal terms and pricing options, while buyers retain control to opt in or out during initial acceptance or later. This feature is now generally available across all commercial AWS Regions for direct private offers with contract pricing.

Features (1)
  • Enable auto-renewals for private offers

AWS Marketplace now allows sellers to enable auto-renewals for private offers, ensuring negotiated pricing and contract terms automatically carry forward. This helps reduce procurement overhead by eliminating the need for re-negotiation or re-purchasing at term end, preventing unintended lapses in subscriptions. Buyers and sellers receive notifications before renewal, and either party can opt out before the deadline, with buyers able to map purchase orders to renewals.
