Second-generation AWS Outposts racks now in the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions
Second-generation AWS Outposts racks are now supported in the AWS GovCloud (US-East) and (US-West) Regions. This expansion allows organizations, including those in the public sector, to extend AWS infrastructure and services to their on-premises data centers for consistent hybrid experiences. Customers can optimize for low-latency workloads and meet data residency requirements by connecting Outposts racks to these newly supported GovCloud regions. This provides greater flexibility for managing and processing sensitive data locally within a secure government-compliant environment.
