AWS Marketplace now supports category-based and multi-channel notifications for buyers
AWS Marketplace buyers can now configure category-based notification subscriptions and multi-channel delivery through AWS User Notifications. This enhancement allows teams responsible for procurement, renewals, and cost management to receive relevant alerts without relying on email forwarding. Buyers can choose from four categories—Products & Solutions, Agreements & Subscriptions, Private Offers, and Pricing Changes—and route them to additional email addresses, the AWS Console Mobile Application, Slack, or Microsoft Teams. While all categories are enabled by default and sent to the root email, customers can customize immediately, with automatic enablement for all customers by January 2027.
