AWS Storage Gateway adds console support for copying file shares
AWS Storage Gateway now allows copying file shares between gateways via the console. This feature preserves compatible settings, significantly reducing manual effort for migrations and upgrades. It includes a guided experience to address any necessary configuration adjustments before creation and is available in commercial AWS Regions.

Users can now copy file shares between AWS Storage Gateway instances directly from the console. The console reads source share configurations and applies compatible settings to the new destination share automatically, streamlining migrations and upgrades.
