AWS Transfer Family SFTP Connectors Improve Credential Rotation
AWS Transfer Family SFTP Connectors now support continuous file transfers even as credentials used for remote SFTP servers are rotated. This enhancement eliminates the need to manually update the connector for new secret versions, preventing transfer failures during the rotation window. Connectors can retrieve credentials from an ordered list of AWS Secrets Manager version stages, such as current and previous, automatically attempting each until one succeeds. This capability requires credentials to be stored in AWS Secrets Manager and is available in all regions where SFTP Connectors are supported.
