feature announcement

Azure Bastion's integration with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) has reached general availability. This allows customers to establish secure tunnels from local machines to AKS cluster API servers, ensuring private cluster endpoints are not publicly exposed. The capability enables the use of standard Kubernetes tools while eliminating the need for separate jump boxes, VPN servers, or additional access agents. This feature significantly enhances security and simplifies access management for AKS deployments.
