Azure Functions runtime v3, retired in December 2022, will be enforced on Linux Consumption-based Function Apps starting September 30, 2026. This action aims to reduce reliance on legacy infrastructure and focus investments on supported platforms. Function App owners on Linux Consumption must migrate to a supported runtime version to avoid service disruption.
