Claude Sonnet 5.5 is accessible to Copilot Pro, Pro+, Max, Business, and Enterprise users across Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, Copilot CLI, GitHub Copilot coding agent, web, mobile, JetBrains IDEs, Xcode, and Eclipse. The model is billed at provider list pricing under usage-based billing.
- Administrator controls for model access
Copilot Enterprise and Business plan administrators can manage access to Claude Sonnet 5.5 via the model policy in Copilot settings. New models are automatically enabled by default unless an administrator has disabled global defaults or explicitly turned off this model.
- Gradual rollout and community feedback
The rollout of Claude Sonnet 5.5 will be gradual across supported platforms. Users are encouraged to check back if they don't immediately see it and to share feedback in the GitHub Community.
