GitHub Actions API and UI Workflow Run Queries Now Show Capped Counts
GitHub Actions API and UI queries for workflow runs now display "2,500+" instead of an exact number when results exceed 2,500 records. This change is implemented to prevent timeouts and improve the accuracy of reported counts, as larger queries frequently returned incomplete numbers. Integrations or scripts relying on precise counts for over 2,500 records should narrow their filters, such as by adding a date range. The update is currently rolling out on github.com and GitHub Enterprise Cloud.
