Google Cloud announces the general availability of Confidential VM feature support for Intel TDX on c3-standard-*-lssd machine types. This enhancement brings hardware-based isolation, providing stronger protection for data in use within virtual machines. It allows customers to run sensitive workloads with improved security guarantees, preventing access to data even from cloud operators. This GA release targets organizations needing high-security computing environments with local SSDs.
