Databricks Genie One has launched as a native mobile app for iOS and Android, enabling business users to access their data-smart AI coworker from their phones. Users can chat with Genie, schedule tasks, explore dashboards, and use apps, all grounded in the same business context and enterprise governance as the web experience.
- Mobile access supports key Genie One functionalities
The mobile app provides the full Genie One experience, including conversational AI, access to AI/BI Dashboards which are automatically mobile-ready, and Databricks Apps. This allows users to ask questions of their data and act on answers instantly, regardless of their location.
- Mobile app adheres to existing enterprise security and governance
Built on existing controls, the mobile app enforces SSO, MFA, and permissions via source-native ACLs and Unity Catalog, without a separate mobile backend. Network security, compliance, and data residency policies applicable to the web experience also apply to the mobile app.
