GCP Cloud Load Balancing: IPv6 BYOIP Reservation and Promotion is GA
Google Cloud has announced the general availability of features for managing IPv6 Bring Your Own IP (BYOIP) addresses with regional external passthrough Network Load Balancers. Users can now reserve specific or automatically allocated BYOIP IPv6 addresses prior to load balancer creation. Additionally, ephemeral BYOIP IPv6 addresses in use by a load balancer can be promoted to reserved static IP addresses, providing enhanced control over network configurations.

For regional external passthrough Network Load Balancers, reserving specific or automatically allocated bring your own IP (BYOIP) IPv6 addresses before creating a load balancer, and promoting an ephemeral BYOIP IPv6 address in use by a load balancer to a reserved static IP address, is generally available (GA).
