Azure App Service Managed Instance is Now Generally Available
Azure App Service Managed Instance has reached general availability, enabling organizations to migrate Windows-dependent web applications to a fully managed PaaS environment with minimal configuration and no code changes. This service targets business-critical .NET applications that rely on components like Windows services or custom runtimes, which typically make modernization challenging. It offers built-in App Service capabilities, administrative control via RDP, and enterprise-ready features including a 99.95% SLA and integration with Azure Policy and Microsoft Defender for Cloud. Workloads can be assessed with Azure Migrate and deployed through the Azure portal, CLI, or IaC tools.
