Managed Service for Apache Spark Receives Subminor Runtime Version Updates
Google Cloud has rolled out new subminor runtime versions (1.2.85, 2.2.85, 2.3.38) for its Managed Service for Apache Spark, previously known as Google Cloud Serverless for Apache Spark. These updates include an upgrade to Apache Spark 3.5.3 in the 2.2 runtime and Apache Gluten 1.6 in the 2.3 runtime. Additionally, the latest images now configure `spark.scheduler.listenerbus.exitTimeout` to 30 seconds. These changes offer users enhanced performance and stability through updated core components.
