Google Cloud's Memorystore for Valkey now offers basic token-based authentication, enhancing the security of instances. This feature enables users to secure access to their Valkey instances, preventing unauthorized access to sensitive data. It is currently available in Preview and can be configured directly through the Google Cloud console.
