- S3 Event Notifications now include system-generated tags
Amazon S3 Event Notifications now deliver system-generated tags to all destinations, including Amazon EventBridge, Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, and AWS Lambda. These tags are metadata labels attached to buckets by AWS services. This allows for filtering events from numerous buckets with a single EventBridge rule, eliminating the need to list each bucket name individually.

- Availability and Integration
System-generated tags are automatically included in new event notifications if they have been applied to buckets by AWS services such as AWS CloudFormation. This feature is available at no additional cost in all AWS Regions and requires no modifications to existing configurations.
