Amazon EC2 C7a instances available in Singapore
Amazon EC2 C7a instances, powered by 4th Gen AMD EPYC processors, are now available in the Asia Pacific (Singapore) Region. These instances offer up to 50% higher performance and 2.25x more memory bandwidth than C6a instances, with new processor capabilities and support for up to 128 EBS volumes. They are suitable for compute-intensive and latency-sensitive workloads and are available via On-Demand, Spot Instances, and Savings Plans.

C7a instances offer up to 50% higher performance than C6a instances, supported by new processor features like AVX-512, VNNI, and bfloat16. They also utilize DDR5 memory for high-speed data access and increased memory bandwidth.
- Increased EBS volume attachment limits
Customers can now attach up to 128 EBS volumes to a C7a instance, a significant increase from the 28 volumes supported by C6a instances. This facilitates workloads requiring numerous storage volumes.
