Amazon EC2 Capacity Reservations Now Support Postponing Start Dates
Amazon EC2 Future-dated Capacity Reservations now allow customers to postpone their specified start dates. This enhancement provides greater flexibility for users whose project timelines or capacity needs change after an initial reservation. When a start date is postponed, EC2 generates a new quote, which may adjust the required commitment duration. This feature is available to all customers using Future-dated Capacity Reservations.

- Postpone start dates for EC2 Future-dated Capacity Reservations
Customers can now adjust the start date for their Amazon EC2 Future-dated Capacity Reservations up to 120 days in advance. Postponing a start date will generate a new quote that may alter the required commitment duration, providing flexibility for evolving project timelines.
