Amazon EC2 G7 instances now available in AWS Europe (Spain) Region

Amazon EC2 G7 instances, featuring NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell GPUs, are now available in the AWS Europe (Spain) Region. These instances offer significant performance improvements for AI inference, graphics workloads, and GPU-accelerated data analytics compared to G6 instances. They are suitable for deploying AI models, accelerating graphics, and supporting workloads like RAG inference and recommender systems. Customers can access them via the AWS Management Console, CLI, and SDKs.

    Amazon EC2 G7 instances, equipped with NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, are now deployable in the AWS Europe (Spain) Region. These instances offer substantial performance gains for AI inference, graphics, and GPU-accelerated data analytics.

  • Improved performance for AI inference and graphics workloads

    G7 instances provide up to 4.6x faster AI inference and up to 2.1x faster graphics performance compared to G6 instances. They accelerate workloads such as language translation, video and image analysis, speech recognition, real-time graphics rendering, and game streaming.

  • Support for diverse data analytics and spatial computing workloads

    The new instances are capable of handling video transcoding, spatial computing, and data analytics tasks including recommender systems, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) inference, and real-time data pipelines.

  • Enhanced hardware specifications for G7 instances

    G7 instances are configured with up to 8 NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell GPUs, custom Intel Xeon 6 processors, up to 192 vCPUs, 700 Gbps EFA networking, 768 GiB system memory, and 7.6 TB of local NVMe SSD storage.

    Amazon EC2 G7 instances are now available in the US East (N. Virginia and Ohio), US West (Oregon), and Europe (Spain) Regions. They can be purchased as On-Demand Instances, Spot Instances, or through Savings Plans via the AWS Management Console, CLI, and SDKs.
