Amazon EC2 G7 instances with NVIDIA RTX GPUs now generally available
AWS announced the general availability of Amazon EC2 G7 instances, featuring NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs. These instances offer significant performance improvements for AI inference and graphics workloads compared to G6, supporting applications like language translation, real-time graphics rendering, and game streaming. G7 instances are now available in two AWS Regions and can be purchased through various pricing models.

Amazon EC2 G7 instances, powered by NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, are now generally available. They offer up to 4.6x better AI inference performance and up to 2.1x better graphics performance compared to G6 instances.
- Accelerated AI inference and graphics workloads
G7 instances are suitable for AI inference tasks like language translation, video analysis, and speech recognition, as well as graphics workloads including real-time rendering and game streaming.
- Enhanced hardware specifications
These instances are equipped with up to 8 NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell GPUs with 32 GB memory each, custom Intel Xeon 6 processors, and up to 700 Gbps of Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA) networking bandwidth.
