Amazon Elastic VMware Service (EVS) is now available in Asia Pacific (Osaka and Taipei), Europe (Spain), and Israel (Tel Aviv) AWS Regions. This expansion offers customers more options to run VMware workloads on AWS, leveraging EC2 bare-metal instances for rapid migration and data center exit strategies. The increased regional availability reduces latency for end-users, helps meet data residency requirements, and enhances high availability and resiliency options. This launch includes all existing EVS features, such as VCF 9.0 and 9.1 support.
