AWS Lambda Managed Instances now support Graviton5-powered C9g, C9gd, M9g, and M9gd EC2 instances. This upgrade provides up to 25% better compute performance compared to Graviton4-powered instances. It allows users to run Lambda functions on the latest Graviton processors, benefiting from specialized compute configurations and EC2 pricing for enhanced cost efficiency. Users can specify Graviton5 instance types when creating a capacity provider or let Lambda automatically select them based on function configuration.
