Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP adds cross-Region and cross-account backup copying
Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP now supports copying volume backups within and across AWS Regions, as well as to trusted accounts in an AWS organization. This new capability provides an additional layer of data protection, simplifying business continuity planning and helping meet compliance requirements. Users can store secondary backup copies separate from primary ones, enhancing resilience and data isolation. This functionality is available for both new and existing backups in all AWS Regions where the service operates.
