Amazon FSx for OpenZFS adds cross-region on-demand data replication

Amazon FSx for OpenZFS now supports on-demand data replication to and from AWS opt-in Regions, enhancing disaster recovery and global data access capabilities. This feature allows incremental transfer of volume snapshots to non-default AWS Regions, expanding cross-Region data architectures. It is available in all regions offering FSx for OpenZFS with no additional charge beyond standard data transfer costs.

    Amazon FSx for OpenZFS now supports on-demand data replication across AWS opt-in Regions. This allows incremental transfer of point-in-time snapshots to regions that are disabled by default, expanding cross-region disaster recovery and data distribution capabilities.
